I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Mazunte Tierra Viva. The room felt fresh and clean, with comfy beds and pillows that made for great sleep. The air conditioning kept the space cool during the heat of the day. The small yet fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic feature, allowing me to prepare meals whenever I wanted. Fresh coffee every morning was a lovely touch. The location is just 100 meters from the beach, with quick access to restaurants and stores. That made it easy to grab breakfast or lunch right by the water without any fuss. However, my experience wasn’t flawless. I did notice some noisy nights due to a nearby bar, which sometimes disrupted my sleep. The bathroom could also use better water pressure for a more refreshing shower. Despite that, the overall vibe was relaxed, and I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. The staff guided me with transportation info and offered assistance when I needed it, which made things easier.

A charming stay just steps from the beach
My stay at Casa Mazunte Tierra Viva was delightful. The cozy atmosphere and proximity to the beach made mornings special, especially with fresh coffee available daily. The hosts went out of their way to ensure my comfort, sharing local tips that added a personal touch to my experience.
However, the noise from nearby bars at night could be disruptive, especially for light sleepers. Though the room temperature was pleasant, I wished for better water pressure in the shower for that refreshing feeling after a long day.

Hammocks in the common area provide a laid-back spot to relax, and the proximity to the beach makes it easy to hit the waves. The fully equipped kitchen allows for some DIY meals, which is handy when you're looking to save credits.
It’s not the quietest place due to music from a bar/restaurant nearby, going until 11:30 PM, which can disturb early risers. The garden view isn’t quite as serene as expected, with tools and maintenance cluttering the view, along with the presence of staff working close by.

We loved the clean room and spacious layout! Our kids enjoyed the hammocks in the common area, and the kitchen made meal prep easy for our family. The friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed during our stay with our dogs.
My wife says that better soundproofing would improve sleep.

Super fun stay close to the beach!
We loved our trip! The place had everything we needed. The ac was a lifesaver. The small bathroom was fine, though. The kitchen was awesome for cooking, and we enjoyed the chill vibe in the outdoor area for quick meals. Just wish the bathroom had more space. But totally worth it!

certainly had high hopes for casa mazunte tierra viva, but it was all downhill. the shower had good pressure, but could hardly call the water hot. and a manager bailed me up for a chat that felt more interrogative than welcoming. there should have been some complimentary gesture for all the inconvenience, but of course that was too much to ask.

Casa Mazunte Tierra Viva provided an excellent experience during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, and fresh coffee was available each morning. Its proximity to the beach, just 100 meters away, made it easy to enjoy the beautiful coastline. Additionally, the engaging outdoor area enhanced relaxation, and the hosts were very accommodating, ensuring a pleasant visit.
The only downside was the relatively higher cost compared to other places in the area.
